PETROMAR is an Angolan right company, created on October 6, 1984, decree n. º 23/84.
In 2001, Petromar UEM was transformed in Petromar Lda (Diário da Republica)
structured as a Corporate, having as main Shareholders Sonangol EP and
Saipem SA / DeLong Hersent Lda. Petromar, Lda have a partnership with TCPI - Angola with
35% of share.
With reference to Petromar activity, the Company develops for its customers; design engineering, prefabrication, construction, installation and maintenance on oil equipment for production, process, transport, distribution and storage of fluids, liquefied gas, heavy equipments, such as: offshore and onshore pipelines, ports and terminals, offshore platforms, breakwater, refineries, pumping stations and other oil related infrastructure. Petromar is strongly committed to the development of Quality programs. In 2005, Petromar redefined its Quality and Sustainability policies, specific programs and objectives, based on Saipem Group policies and programs.The Petromar Quality Policy is based on the following principles:
- Complete focus on quality-continuous improvement and customer satisfaction
- Proposing and implementing a Quality Management System and work processes continuous improvement
- Complete involvement of all personnel
Petromar Quality System is based on the requirements of ISO 9001-2008 and the Sustainability approach, according to the international guidelines and Saipem Group Standards Recommendations.Internal Audits are planned and performed on a regularly basis to monitor QMS implementation and performance. Petromar is certified by BVQI ISO 9001:2008.
